Ballet

Our studio is renowned for its training and commitment to the highest standards of classical ballet. Many of our students have progressed to prestigious institutions like the Royal Ballet. We are proud to now offer specialised ballet techniques, including Progressive Ballet Technique (PBT), designed to enhance strength and flexibility. Our dancers regularly compete and excel in the All England Dance Festival, showcasing their talent on a national stage. We also follow the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus, one of the most respected ballet examination boards in the world, where are students achieve outstanding results.

pre-primary classes

For our youngest dancers, we understand that starting something new can feel a bit daunting. But don’t worry, we’re here to make those first steps in ballet both fun and welcoming. Our pre-primary and primary classes are led by friendly, caring teachers who are dedicated to ensuring every child feels comfortable and supported. From the moment they walk through the door, our little dancers are looked after with kindness, making their introduction to ballet a positive and joyful experience. Plus, new students can enjoy a 2-week class pass, where they can trial any class for free for two weeks!

rad examinations

We follow the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) syllabus, one of the most respected ballet examination boards in the world. Our students consistently achieve outstanding results across all disciplines, a reflection of their hard work and the high-quality instruction they receive. We are particularly proud that many of our senior students have gone on to attend top dance colleges and have built successful careers on international stages. The RAD exams not only provide a solid foundation in ballet technique but also open doors to exciting opportunities in the world of dance.

pointe classes

Our dance studio offers specialised pointe classes. Pointe work is a pivotal milestone for a ballet dancer, where they learn to dance on the tips of their toes using specialised shoes. Our teachers work closely with each student to ensure they're prepared and confident, making it both safe and enjoyable.

what our students say

I started dancing at Rentons when I was 7. I started a ballet class and really enjoyed it and started joining more classes which I also loved too. I auditioned for vocational schools and was very grateful to receive a place at White Lodge. I could not have done this without the training at Renton’s and the lovely teachers guiding me.
— Emilia, Alumni of Renton, now studying at The Royal Ballet School
